The Bay Area Charter Leadership Council, Inc. is a non-profit
organization formed in March of 2006. Enrollment is open to any
public charter school currently under operation in the Tampa Bay
Area. This organization is committed to assisting member schools in
working collaboratively to improve education.
Officers of BACLC, Inc. are elected by administrators representing
member schools and serve for two years. Elections are held every two
years in November and terms begin in January of the next calendar
year. Committee members may be elected or appointed to serve in any
particular capacity that the group deems necessary on an "ad hoc"
basis.
While each school is a member of the collaborative, individual
schools may choose to participate or refrain from participating in
any initiative and still retain membership within the organization.
It is expected that all member schools will maintain cordial and
professional relationships with leaders and employees of other
member schools at all times.
